libcv2.4 software package provides computer vision library - libcv* translation package, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libcv2.4
libcv2.4 is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libcv2.4 package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libcv2.4 *
You will get with libcv2.4 package name, version, architecture and description in a table
